Well it seems you have strayed upon my lj, dubbed Dubh_Inion, which, for your information, means Black Daughter in Gaelic. But no, that doesn’t make me a Goth, punk, emo, indie or any other classification you could possibly think of. I have been called just about all of these things (with he exception of emo) but I resent such comments and believe that classifying people is a ridiculous concept which places everyone in a tiny little box with no room to move. My name's Jen, or the Captain, depending on who your speaking to. I'm 14 years old and this is my life.

I have a passion for pirates. I don’t know why, I just do. They are infinitely cool.

I also have a fear of feet. And French hens. But other than that I’m almost fearless. I’m kooky, have you noticed?

I enjoy adding randoms to my hit list; hating people I’ve never met, yelling out random sounds, such as ‘yarr!’ and ‘gr!’, glaring at people and scaring them and other such random activities.
I’m quite antisocial and very moody, and I have the rare ability to be furious and still grin and say ‘Hey!’ when I see a friend. I can spend the entire day fuming and become happy and cheery again in a split second.

I have amazing arms. If anyone wants to know what my best feature is, the answer is my arms. People come from far and wide to hold them, hug them, poke them, pull them and otherwise make their dormant state a lot more active. They are also the subject of much controversy within my group of friends, and also the reason one of my male friends wanted to dump his girl friend –because she clung to my arms. He is now guilty of the same crime. As is just about everyone in my ‘group’ of friends.

I have bloody wicked glasses too.

Colours make me happy.

I become obsessed with various things very easily. It was cacti at some point, and then herbs, colour bars, poppies, horses, frogs, cats, cooking, writing stories, poetry, edgar allen poe, plays, movies, comedy, singing, photography, trees, swimming, combat, soccer, footy, rpgs, philosophy, languages...a new obsession for every week.

I have two cats which I am deeply infatuated, Samurai, the eldest, and Cookie. Both are black moggy kittens, Samurai being a boy and Cookie a girl. They are very fond of my mother’s pasta.

I have so many interests and desires that my worst possible scenario is getting old and incapable before I manage to learn absolutely everything that I want to. I will one day discover the philosopher’s stone to gain eternal life and thus I can continue living for all eternity. Yes.

Perhaps I should also mention that I have a very interesting theory about the way the world works, and religions. I’m also very stubborn so if you intend to make an attempt to steer me from my ‘path to hell’ you may wish to know what your efforts would be wasted and that you should direct them on a less futile cause.

And finally, this journal is friends only because I'm overly paranoid and weird. Fear me.
